Job Title: LinkedIn & Content Storyteller
Company: KinnectCare
Employment Type: Part-time
Location: Remote
Work Authorization: Open to candidates anywhere; candidates with ties to India, Nigeria, and/or the Philippines especially encouraged to apply

About KinnectCare

KinnectCare is building the health platform for diaspora families, the millions of people raising their lives in one country while their parents grow old in another. We turn the ordinary video calls families already make with aging parents into early wellness signals, unify medical records across borders, and keep the whole family and their clinicians on one shared timeline.

We’re pre-seed and building toward launch, with 250 families on the waitlist and pilot corridors live across the US, India, the Philippines, Nigeria, and the UK. Both founders are living this problem in real time, caring for their own parents abroad.

The Role

You will own how KinnectCare shows up in the world. Not just posting content. Not chasing vanity metrics. Building a voice. This role is for someone who understands that the best early-stage companies are built through storytelling, through founder narratives, customer stories, thoughtful LinkedIn posts, and ideas that make people stop scrolling.

One day you might turn a founder’s personal experience caring for parents abroad into a powerful LinkedIn post. The next, you might write a blog exploring the future of aging, diaspora healthcare, AI in wellness, or the emotional reality of supporting family across borders. You will help shape KinnectCare’s public identity from the ground up. You will become the storyteller behind a mission-driven company solving a deeply human problem.

What you’ll do

  • Own KinnectCare’s LinkedIn presence and content strategy from the ground up.
  • Develop a consistent voice across founder profiles and company channels.
  • Write compelling LinkedIn posts that build trust, engagement, and community.
  • Turn founder insights, customer conversations, and industry trends into stories people care about.
  • Create long-form content including blogs, newsletters, opinion pieces, and thought leadership articles.
  • Help position KinnectCare as a voice in diaspora healthcare, aging, AI, and the future of family care.
  • Interview founders, families, healthcare professionals, and partners to uncover meaningful stories.
  • Research trends and conversations happening in healthcare, technology, caregiving, and global communities.
  • Build a content calendar and create a repeatable storytelling system.
  • Experiment with formats: written posts, founder essays, educational content, case studies, and community stories.
  • Support investor, partner, and community communication by making sure every message tells a clear story.

What we’re looking for

  • A natural storyteller who knows how to make people care.
  • Strong writing ability, you can turn complex ideas into simple, memorable narratives.
  • Deep understanding of LinkedIn as a platform for relationships, credibility, and community building.
  • Ability to find the human story behind a company, product, or mission.
  • Someone who follows creators, founders, and industry voices and understands what makes content resonate.
  • Highly self-directed, you don’t wait for a content calendar; you create one.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and building from zero.
  • Curious about healthcare, technology, aging, family, and global communities.
  • Strong attention to detail and consistency.

Nice to have

  • Experience managing LinkedIn pages or founder accounts.
  • Experience writing for startups, healthcare companies, technology companies, or mission-driven organizations.
  • Existing understanding of LinkedIn growth strategies and personal branding.
  • Experience with newsletters, blogs, Substack, or other publishing platforms.
  • Experience interviewing people and turning conversations into stories.
  • Familiarity with AI tools for research, writing, and content workflows.
  • Personal connection to diaspora communities or cross-border family experiences.

A note on Stage and Compensation

We’re currently at the pre-seed stage, so we want to be transparent that this position is unpaid for now. We’ll be upfront about the tradeoffs of joining this early, while looking for someone who’s excited by the opportunity to build with us from the ground floor.
