Social Media Marketing Intern

Apply now and you can positively impact communities around the world. As part of the internship, you work closely with Kurani leadership on real-world projects, publications, and impact campaigns. This is a rare opportunity for you to use your talents to make a difference in the world.

  • applicants may speak to their school about receiving academic credit for this unpaid internship

Duration

  • 10 weeks, for at least 20 hours /week

Responsibilities

  • Use social media marketing to increase public awareness of Kurani and our impactful work
  • Manage Kurani’s social accounts on Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook
  • Brainstorms campaign ideas
  • Work alongside the team to create a plan for monthly social media strategies
  • Interact with followers and potential donors by communicating and answering questions through the social pages
  • Analyze analytics to gauge the success of campaigns and improve future campaigns
  • Develop creative assets (images, diagrams, videos) for social posts

Candidate requirements

  • knowledge of social media best practices & resources
  • content creation experience
  • storytelling skills
  • detail-oriented

Nice to haves

  • proficient in Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud
  • experience with data-driven approach to growing an online audience
