Full-time Arts, Communications & MediaExpires January 19, 2021

Macmillan Publishers is currently offering paid, part-time, remote internship opportunities for spring 2021. Internships in our Trade Publishing division will be available in areas such as: Editorial, Marketing, Publicity, Art & Design, Sales, Production, Podcasting, Digital Marketing, Speakers Bureau, Creative Services and Children’s Books.

Please specify your areas of interest in your cover letter.

Interns in our program will become familiar with the basic structure of a publishing house and the role of each department within. Interns will be provided with the opportunity to participate in job-related assignments, gain practical work experience and network with employees from various departments — all virtually.

The Macmillan spring internship program is available to candidates who have graduated high school, are over the age of 18, are eligible to work in the U.S. and aspire to pursue a career in the publishing industry. Applicants who identify with groups that are traditionally underrepresented in the publishing industry [including but not limited to: BIPOC, LGQTIA+, veterans and people with disabilities], are strongly encouraged to apply.

Interns will work no more than 25 hours per week. Exact dates will be determined. If needed, there may be some flexibility in regards to the duration of the internship.

Thanks and we look forward to receiving your application!

This is a temporary contracted position; the successful candidate will be employed by Headway Workforce Solutions, LLC working remotely from anywhere in the United States.
