Looking for recent college grads or May 2021 soon to be grads with an interest in working in a law firm and gaining experience in a law firm.

Full-time Legal Assistant needed to do paralegal and administrative work in a personal injury and workers’ compensation law firm.

This is a Full-time job not an internship. Looking for someone who wants to take a year or more off before going to law school and get experience in working at a law firm. A Bachelor’s degree is required for this position.

Must be able to type. Proficiency with Microsoft Word required. Working knowledge of Excel and Quickbooks preferred. Prior Macintosh computer experience and prior law firm or office work experience preferred, but not required. Pre-law students preferred. Political liberals welcome. Position requires strong interpersonal and writing skills.

Making telephone calls to clients, opposing counsel, and doctor’s offices. Answering phones. Writing correspondence. Organizing medical records and other file materials. Using spreadsheets. Typing and filing.

This is an in person job in a small firm with only two other people, all of whom have their own separate working space. Expected start day on or about May 17, 2021.
