Metter Media Internship – About this Position
*This is an unpaid internship that is only available for school credit
*This is primarily a remote position, with the opportunity to attend client site visits/photoshoots in the Greater Boston area
Metter Media’s internship program is a 12-week immersive, hands-on experience. Interns will interact one-on-one with MM Account Directors and experience how a social media agency operates first-hand.
Interns will support Account Directors with day-to-day social media execution across client accounts. Responsibilities include:
- community management (engaging with local accounts, sharing and reposting content, responding to messages, and flagging questions or issues)
- follower growth using key geographies and hashtags
- assisting with administrative tasks such as cleaning up Instagram highlights and reviewing bios
- researching trends, competitors, and key markets
- contributing ideas to weekly trend reports and internal Slack channels
- support campaigns, site visits, and team brainstorms.
- assisting with content for Metter Media’s own social channels, including weekly top-post Stories and quarterly NewsMetter support.
