Boosted Biz is the holding company for MurryAve.com that develops web-stores for pro and college athletes to capitalize off their likeness! To name a few, we work with some of the most notable athletes: John Wall, Terrell Owens, Jordan McLaughlin, Cappie Pondexter, Booby Gibson, etc. But we are for everyone!
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will work primarily in sales and marketing, but may have the ability to explore and learn from other fields of the business. Our ideal candidate is a highly motivated, creative individual with a passion for connecting with the athlete influencer community.
This is an unpaid internship. Students may receive course credit for the internship, and/or staff will work with the school/advisor on achieving desired learning outcomes and completing all necessary paperwork. We are also willing to pay commissions or tips if you can find good clients!
LOCATION
All online. Office is in Pittsburgh, PA.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Find and contact busineses, schools, aspiring athletes, brands, and influencers through DMs or emails.
- Deliver them our deck and help them understand our E-commerce services.
- Target and find new clients.
- Manage client’s e-commerce web-store building.
- Stay abreast of current social trends, marketing techniques, industry standards, and tech innovations to ensure effective content that achieves the team’s goals.
- Work with higher-ups on marketing initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
- 0-2 years social media and/or digital marketing experience.
- Excellent verbal, organizational, communicative, and technological skills.
- Appetite for all things digital and social–up on the latest platforms and technologies and desire to identify opportunities for strategic brand involvement.
- Highly organized with the ability to seamlessly juggle multiple competing projects at once.
- Team player with strong work ethic, keen to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Strong analytical and creative skills.
- Proficient Computer Skills: Google drive, excel, instagram messaging
HOURS
15-20 hours per week on a semi-flexible schedule. Additional hours may be available under special circumstances.
