The Electronics team at Nanowear Inc creates breakthroughs in wearable medical electronics and delivers them to market at scale. We are looking to hire an Electrical Systems Engineer experienced in design, development, and testing of Analog and RF Hardware Medical Systems. You will focus on early-stage technology development and large-scale production in parallel, giving you the ability to utilize your creativity, influence product design, and technology selection. You will be challenged to think creatively by discovering unmet patient needs, concepting designs, and developing prototypes for next gen wearable medical electronics.
Job Duties:
· Design, development, and testing of Analog and RF Hardware Medical Systems.
· Develop and execute manual/automated tests for system verification/validation on electrical, electronics, mechanical devices.
· Design multi-layer PCB, analog/digital circuits, circuit design/schematics, mechanical design/modelling.
· Develop and test embedded firmware.
· Author and review design documentation for test protocols, test results, test reports, and traceability; participate in design reviews and contribute to test planning and design.
· Develop test strategy and plans for medical sensors and electronics.
· Create requirements, development plan, and test procedures based on product requirements.
· Determine, coordinate, and perform applicable tests as per the applicable ISO/AAMI/IEC standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
· 2+ years of experience in systems engineering involving electrical, electronics, mechanical components and devices.
· Bachelors or Masters or PhD degree in an engineering discipline required; Electrical Engineering preferred, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering acceptable with relevant experience.
· Medical Device verification and validation experience preferred.
· Experience in writing and executing effective test protocols and reports is required.
· Experience and/or understanding of ISO13485, FDA 21CFR820 Medical Devices Quality systems.
· Experience in developing and testing devices with wireless capabilities (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, etc.)
· Experience in designing multi-layer PCB, analog/digital circuits, circuit design/schematics, mechanical design/modelling preferred with accordance to EMC and Electrical Safety standards.
· Experience executing test cases for embedded systems, embedded systems programming with Microchip and TI tool chains and C/C++ familiarity.
· Experience with MATLAB required; Python, R preferred.
· Working knowledge of electronic measurement equipment including: oscilloscopes, digital voltmeters, spectrum analyzers, measurement receivers, network analyzers, LCR meter, and Q meter.
