National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) Summer Junior Fellows and Academic Year Junior Fellows:
- Build subject matter expertise in national defense acquisition strategy and defense policy;
- Contribute to National Defense Magazine, NDIA’s Blog, and our annual Vital Signs Assessment of the Defense Industrial Base;
- Gain exposure to industry leaders in business, defense policy, contracting, nonprofit organizations, and government; and
- Most fellows spend about 15 hours per week on NDIA work during the academic year
Participants must be a graduate-level student in international affairs, public policy, public affairs, economics, law, or an equivalent program, be in good academic standing, and express an interest in defense policy.
Junior Fellows will receive a stipend of $800 per month. Efforts to obtain academic credit will be supported, in coordination with academic faculty. Reimbursement of all incidentals provided.
Remote to start. Our headquarters is in Arlington, Virginia, near the Courthouse Metro Station. Fellows are welcome to come into the office a few days a week.
