New Business Internship
FOD Processing and Unmatched Mail: Help our forms on delivery team by reviewing documents for correct signatures and satisfying the requirements on the system. This person would also be responsible for requesting forms if any were missing or not completed correctly. Working in unmatched mail to match up documents on pending policies. Working alongside our IT team to understand the mail that comes in that is manually input vs. electronically sent to see if we can make improvements to enhance the process. We would want them to understand the process and make suggestions on how to better engage with the customer. Entering Applications: They would enter application that receive from the agents and requesting answers to missing questions and requesting forms that maybe missing or not completed correctly. E-app Screening: They would review application received through the system. It is a quick review and also would be responsible for updating the system also letting the agent know if anything was needed. APS team: They would help the APS team in ordering medical records, sending out authorizations to agents and then back to the vender. Requesting information from agents if information is needed.
Process Documentation: Assist our Business Solutions Team with document management to include review of documentation for fluency, format, as well as proofreading for grammar, punctuation, misspelling. Taking inventory of all existing documentation with the intent of assigning content managers and working with them to confirm the content is current and/or update as needed. Perform duties as related to preparation and assignment of documentation requests received from our internal customers. Serve as a tester of documentation, demonstrating the capability to perform documented procedures with little or no assistance.
