Full-time Expires February 26, 2021

This position is in the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)’s Acquisition and Grants Office (AGO). NOAA does amazing work ranging from oceanic and atmospheric research to providing ground support for satellites and high performance computing for complex weather models. NOAA’s ability to accomplish its mission and achieve its goals depends significantly on AGO’s ability to process over $2.5 billion annually in contracts and grants in accordance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

The announcement is for student interns interested in future acquisition/contracting careers and includes developmental opportunities and training, flexible full- or part-time schedules, benefits and paid time off, regular promotions, and an opportunity for conversion to a permanent Federal position upon graduation. We are hoping to bring on a cohort of interns in several locations so that they can begin and grow their careers together.

AGO has approximately 300 Federal employees and contractors, composed mostly of graduates with business degrees or a minimum of 24 business credits. We are located in Silver Spring, MD; Norfolk, VA; Boulder, CO; and Seattle, WA.
