The New England Chapter of the National Scleroderma Foundation, a non profit organization, is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Intern to join our team. As an intern, you will play a vital role in managing and growing our online presence.
Responsibilities:
Content Creation:
- Develop engaging social media content, including posts, captions, and graphics.
- Research and curate relevant content.
- Collaborate with other team members to create compelling stories.
Community Management:
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions.
- Foster a positive and engaging online community.
- Engage with followers and build relationships.
Platform Management:
- Manage and update social media profiles.
- Schedule content using social media management tools.
- Stay up-to-date with social media trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative and innovative thinking.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in graphic design or photo editing tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop) is a plus.
