New Entry’s mission is to promote sustainable agriculture and help to strengthen local food systems. We offer a variety of opportunities for summer internships, directed-study, research projects, and work-study employment. In this position, you will assist with special projects associated with Farmer Training learning objectives and grant deliverables; prepare course materials for trainings; schedule speakers and field trips to farms/markets; coordinate logistics for training courses; attend training sessions and provide technical assistance to participants; evaluate training sessions and revise training manuals. Support participants across online and in-person courses including Farm Business Planning and Crop Production. Support farm manager with production related needs in the field.
We are looking for self-directed interns who can work well in teams and individually and have an interest in building equity and resiliency into local food systems.
