Nomi Network is looking to hire a Communications Intern to support our HQ team. This role is perfect for someone who loves writing, is creative, and interested in working with a small and fast-growing nonprofit fighting human trafficking globally.

Location: Remote

Hours: 10-15 hours / week (flexible around your schedule)

Dates: February to May

Core Responsibilities

· Help rewrite and edit impact stories from the field

· Create social media posts and captions from impact stories

· Assist in planning, writing and managing social media posts

· Help design event/program fliers, infographics and ad hoc marketing materials

· Copyedit marketing materials

· Archive stories into our database

· Create and curate content for blog

· Monitor and research influencers, trending topics and tools.

· Help compile and update media contact lists for press outreach

· Present key findings to team as part of a final project for the summer

· Social Media Savvy

· An excellent communicator and writer with content creation skills

· Adept in graphic design and visual storytelling

· Proficient with MS Office Suite and Google Suite

· Genuinely enthusiastic about creating compelling marketing materials to support funding and awareness
