Education Specialist – High Aspirations (HA)

Position Summary

The Education Specialist is a relationship-focused role responsible for driving program participation, building partnerships, and advancing workforce and education initiatives. This position emphasizes strategic outreach, community engagement, and program growth rather than administrative coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Family & Youth Engagement: Conduct outreach to families, build strong relationships, and promote consistent participation.

• School & Community Partnerships: Develop partnerships with schools and community organizations; drive participation with a goal of engaging 20+ schools in key events.

• Employer & Workforce Engagement: Build relationships with employers and workforce partners to create career exploration opportunities for youth.

• Program Support: Contribute to program development, provide feedback on effectiveness, and support strategic growth initiatives.

• Relationship building and stakeholder engagement

• Community outreach and advocacy

• Strategic thinking and problem-solving

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to work independently and proactively

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience

• Experience in education, nonprofit, or community engagement roles preferred

• Demonstrated success in building partnerships and driving participation outcomes

• Youth participation and retention

• Employer partnership development

• Achievement of key event participation goals
