Interns will be writing for several different media channels, including letters to the editor, social media, instructional material, letters to elected officials, and other community leaders. Through direct outreach, interns will play a key role in coalition-building and public education. This will include working coalition partners, e.g. student groups; ACLU; NAACP; PA Catholic Conference; PA Council of Churches; and political and social justice organizations. Interns will play a significant role in all aspects of our virtual events.
This internship program is fully remote using Zoom. The tentative program length is from Feb 1 to May 7, but we will accommodate student schedules.
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis – we encourage you to submit your materials as soon as possible. Students should consult with academic faculty to determine if this unpaid experience will earn credit.
