Intern –Mergers & Acquisitions– Remote- Part time- January 2022
Are you interested in an Internship opportunity with Philips? We welcome individuals who are currently pursuing a graduate (MS) degree to participate in 6-month paid opportunities at our sites across the US. Through these roles, you will gain meaningful, hands-on experience working for a Health-Tech company.
**Willing to have candidate start ASAP part time**
In this role, you have the opportunity to
experience M&A from a corporate value creation perspective and have the chance to participate in Philips newest acquisitions.
You are responsible for
· Work as full part of the team
· Assist on deal execution
· Perform valuation analysis
· Due diligence (both as sell-side and as buy-side)
· Project management
· Gather information by using various databases (CapitalIQ, Pitchbook, etc.)
You are a part of
the Philips M&A department, responsible for all acquisitions, joint venture and divestment activities exercised by Philips around the globe. Within this department, the deal team’s responsibilities include valuation, due diligence, project management and negotiation of all transactions. Also, our work involves organizing internal approvals at Board level and assisting business groups (our internal clients) on strategic choices.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
· A good academic track record
· Strong professional drive
· A genuine interest in financial markets
· Other internship experience in finance sector is preferred (e.g. transaction services, equity research)
· Applicants must be registered students
