The Sports Performance and Marketing Intern will gain hands-on experience in:
- strength and conditioning
- group fitness coaching,
- sport science technology
- Interns will assist with coaching youth, high school, collegiate, and adult clients during group training sessions while learning proper exercise technique, coaching cues, and class management strategies.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Social media content creation, marketing initiatives, community outreach efforts, and promoting programs and events.
- Interns will also gain exposure to sport science and athlete monitoring technologies including:
- Force plate testing,
- Velocity-based training systems,
- Athlete management software
- Speed Gates
- Recovery technologies.
Interns will assist with daily facility operations:
- Equipment setup and maintenance.
- Creating a positive training environment for all members.
- Opportunities to shadow Division I strength and conditioning operations at Northeastern University will also be available throughout the internship.
*Compensation may be available based on experience level, qualifications, and demonstrated coaching responsibilities throughout the internship.
