Retail Merchandising Representative

Do you love retail, but want the freedom to set your own schedule? Keep reading! Channel Partners, a national retail solution company, has an immediate opening for a Part-Time Merchandising Representative in your area!

Description:
As an employee of Channel Partners, you will be assigned to work in retail stores on a weekly, bi-weekly and/or one-time basis. You will be responsible for servicing retail stores within a 15-mile radius of your home address and can expect part-time, varying hours from week to week. On average, you can expect to be scheduled 3-8 hours each week. Workload may vary drastically based on the time of the year.

Compensation:

  • Employees are paid an in-store and online training hourly rate of $13.25 per hour

Channel Partners Merchandiser Responsibilities:

  • Complete assigned merchandising projects accurately and on time, including stocking and organizing products, auditing placement, tagging/signing items, collecting data, setting displays, and maintaining planograms
  • Accurately report all completed in-store projects through a mobile app, including answering project-related questions and uploading required photos
  • Make routine decisions, escalate store issues when needed, manage schedules to meet deadlines, and resolve basic service-related issues
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with store personnel to support company and client goals
  • Create and foster cooperative relationships with Channel Partners employees including peers, Channel Partners corporate employees, partners and managers
  • Continuously, more than 60% of the time:
    • Lift up to 10 pounds
    • Stand and walk up to 4 hours at a time
    • Visually see small items, numbers and codes
    • Repetitive use of fingers, wrists and hands
  • Frequently, 30% – 60% of the time:
    • Lift up to 25 pounds
    • Stoop and bend
    • Kneel and crouch
    • Reach above and below shoulder level
  • Occasionally, less than 30% of the time:
    • Lift up to 50 pounds
    • Climb ladders
    • Climb stairs, use escalators or elevators in assigned store if needed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of retail and merchandising operations, including understanding retail terminology and company software
  • Reliable transportation to stores within a 15-mile radius of your home and ability to transport supplies as needed
  • Internet access with printing and downloading capabilities
  • Regular access to a smart device with a data plan, app download capability, and photo upload functionality
  • Active email address and phone with voicemail
  • Strong communication skills in person, by phone and via email
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and complete projects by deadlines
  • Self-motivated with strong time management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to use basic tools such as a screwdriver, box cutter and hammer
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and adapt to changing priorities
