NOTE: internship is unpaid, start and end-dates flexible
You might know that a million people die a year from counterfeit pharmaceuticals. What might surprise you is that 3/4s of these deaths are caused by counterfeit vaccines. Defeating global pandemics like Coronavirus require not only worldwide treatments and vaccines, but an end to pharmaceutical counterfeiting. That’s where we come in.
The company’s motto Fortes Fortuna Juvat or “Fortune Favors the Bold” matches the boldness of the Company’s mission, to save a million lives a year including 300K children and the boldness of the product (advanced nanotechnology patent pending in +60 countries.)
Boldness also describes our approach to management. We believe career professionals and subject-matter experts are susceptible to a group-think that stifles originality; so we hire employees and take on interns who are generally brilliant, and train them on projects outside their comfort zone. This could be anything from marketing to finance to pricing. If there is a specific area you want to learn about, we ought to be able to give you the training and experience you seek. Current projects include business development, marketing, and market analysis.
We have won awards for innovation in design and technology, including attending the White House on the President’s birthday. After over half a decade of research and development, we are about to go to market, and we are seeking elite remote interns to start this summer (or earlier). This is an excellent opportunity to not only make an enormous social impact, but gain experience and professional growth not typically offered to undergraduates. You will be part of decisions usually reserved for the C-Suite. Additionally, you will be given the freedom to put in your hours whenever you see fit. Be bold and apply!
Qualifications – You:
Are scrappy and ambitious.
Have a zeal for changing the world.
Are an intellectually curious, constant learner who takes initiative (you will find no micromanagers here).
Have an SAT score of above a 1500 or above or an ACT score of 34 or above, OR have the guts to call the CEO himself and pitch why you are brilliant otherwise (512-993-5269).
As strong believers in agility we offer flexibility to our interns, including flexible hours and starting/ending dates. However, this only applies to unpaid interns; if you are paid through a University program, we may have to follow more rigid regulations.
