Sportsmen’s Tennis & Enrichment Center, a not-profit organization, is seeking an intern to support our Marketing and Fundraising efforts at our office in Dorchester. Working under the supervision of the Director of Development, you will assist with the planning, development and execution of communication plans for events and activities; support special events, in particular the Tennis Ball Gala; oversee databases; research prospective sponsors and silent auction donors; and assist with administrative tasks as assigned.

As an intern, you will work with the TEAM responsible for putting together a detailed plan to execute a successful Gala in the spring and other exciting fundraising events throughout the year. The ideal candidate must be able to work both independently and with a group. You will complete a wide range of activities requiring clear, effective communication, critical thinking, excellent organizational skills and a keen attention to detail. Ability to work well under pressure, make decisions and ensure the smooth and efficient running of an event.
