Asian Liver Center is currently hiring the following positions for the 2021-2022 Academic Year Internship!
Plan and implement in-person and virtual community outreach activities. Coordinate educational resources for physicians, nurses and patients; community associations. Participate in proposal writing to raise fund for youth and community outreach initiatives. Build websites focusing on community outreach highlights and resources for community organization, community members and community workers.
Plan and implement the advocacy events in local communities. You will also need to plan and execute the 2021 Youth Leadership Conference at Stanford University, which brings together 100 high school students from around the world to train them in leadership and motivate them to take action against the biggest health disparity faced by Asians and Pacific Islanders today, hepatitis B.
Looking for a passionate individual with substantial web design experience to create a new HepBmoms website. The new design will focus on elimination of mother to child transmission of hepatitis B and elimination of hepatitis B stigma. The goal is to provide 1) hepatitis B infected pregnant women or hepatitis B infected women of child bearing age the important information to protect their newborns and themselves from hepatitis B and 2) resources for healthcare providers to prevent mother to child transmission of hepatitis B, and for the medical management of women with chronic hepatitis infection.
We are looking for a young passionate intern to assist in data management and analysis as part of an ongoing research project focused on evaluating the cascade of screening, diagnosis and treatment of chronic hepatitis B infection. This is a great opportunity for those who look to build up their data analytics profile. Responsibilities: 1) Examine patients’ claim data and make sense of available information; 2) Perform data cut and data transform to obtain information for the intended research; 3) Perform descriptive and correlation analysis, identify patterns and trends, and create reports or dashboards to answer research questions. Use Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator to create original designs for flyers, brochures, posters, and websites. Your work will be featured at outreach events and on the official Stanford website.
