Stifel is launching A Sophomore Explorers Program in our Institutional Group.
Duration and Program Details:
This program is a full-time, 4-week long career exploration and professional development opportunity. During the Sophomore Explorers Program, motivated undergraduate sophomores will be able to gain insight into careers in Fixed Income Capital Markets, Equity Research, and Investment Banking. The program will be held virtually in the summer of 2021.
The program will provide participants with an opportunity to get to learn about these divisions within Stifel’s Institutional Group and is focused on promoting career exploration. At the same time, participants will develop their analytic and practical skills through in-depth training and projects. Importantly, each participant will get to know experienced Stifel professionals through a mentorship program, networking opportunities, and a speaker series.
By the end of the program, participants will have a deeper understanding of Stifel’s Institutional Group businesses, the financial services industry, and future full-time internship opportunities with Stifel. Successful participants will be considered for a Summer 2022 internship role that best matches their skills and interests.

· Anticipated graduation between December 2022 and June 2023
· Minimum 3.0 GPA
· Interested in exploring careers in financial services
· Demonstrated track record of achievement in academics and extracurricular activities
· Driven, proactive, and team-oriented
· Exceptional problem solving, analytic, and Microsoft Office skills
· Pursuing a bachelor’s degree and knowledgeable of financial markets
