Study Breaks is a website written and illustrated exclusively by college students, and we’re looking for student graphic design/illustration interns for the summer 2021 semester.

What You’ll Do

Every week, interns will work with our art department to create two (2) illustrations, each of which will be used on multiple social media platforms and on our website.

What You’ll Receive

Design interns will receive feedback from the Study Breaks art director, which will focus on the technicality of their craft. They will also become familiar with InDesign, Photoshop, Slack and basic WordPress.

In addition, design interns will accrue dozens of bylines, illustrate a number of different subjects and employ a variety of different styles. Interns will be published online and on social, and will be exposed to a variety of other student writers and artists from across the country.

The Specifics

The summer 2021 program runs from May 31, 2021, to Sept. 24, 2021, and applications close May 17, 2021.

– Expect to work between 10-12 hours/week.

– Interns will create 2 designs a week.

– To apply, simply send in two examples of your work.

– The internship is remote, so you can work from anywhere.

The only requirements are that you are a current college student, a talented illustrator and a creative, punctual human being. There is no experience necessary.
