We are hiring a Marketing and Events Coordinator for an immediate start. We are open to both full and part time candidates, and can adjust job responsibilities accordingly.
We are seeking team members ready to tell the story of our partner co-operatives in East Africa and their ethically made products through social media, email, and in-person events! We are looking for candidates with an interest in social media and email marketing, who can demonstrate proficiency on multiple social media platforms. Retail or sales experience would be preferred, with a strong preference for experience in fashion/gift/boutique environments.
The Marketing and Events Coordinator will work alongside management to craft compelling emails, videos, and content. They will also work alongside retail staff to plan and execute in-store events (product launches, sales, seasonal gatherings, classes, markets, etc).

Basic Responsibilities:
- Social media post scheduling
- Email creation
- Coordinating and executing in-store events
- Tracking metrics to evaluate success of marketing efforts
- Customer service
Potential Additional Responsibilities:
- Social media ad strategy
- Wholesale marketing and sales
- Coordinating photo shoots/content generation
We are a company built on fair trade principles that does direct trade with our artisan partners in Tanzania and Kenya. Successful candidates will have communication skills to tell our brand story and generate sales.
Starting wage is dependent on experience/responsibilities, but we are open to both salaried and hourly pay, with additional commission. We’re flexible and we’re growing, and we’d love to work with folks who want to grow with us.
