We are looking for a Grant Writer to join our team with an interest in environmentalism and technology and assist in our efforts in securing grant funding. A Grant Writer’s responsibilities will include assisting the team in researching different grant opportunities, writing compelling grant proposals to acquire funding, and working with our leadership team. Our grant writer interns will be working with our 501(c)(3) organization AAT Foundation.
Job description
- Research grant opportunities from government, non-government agencies, and corporations.
- Work with our team in drafting grant proposals and supporting documents needed.
- Submit proposals to the leadership team for approval.
- Maintain records and submit reports related to grant opportunities.
Minimum Education, Skills and Abilities
· Ability to work effectively under pressure
· Excellent writing and verbal skills
· Be highly organized with the ability to implement systems and follow-up processes
· Excellent Computer skills (Microsoft Office Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Excel), and database management skills
· Motivated self-starter with the ability to work collaboratively and independently with purpose and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
