We are seeking a skilled and creative Video Game Developer and a Board Game Programmer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in game development and a passion for creating fun and educational games for children. As a Video Game Programmer, you will work closely with our designers, artists, and other developers to create engaging and interactive games that reflect our brand’s values and vision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement game mechanics
- Develop various features and systems of the game
- Integrate graphics, sound, and animations
- Develop and implement gameplay features for children’s games
- Collaborate with designers and artists to create fun, interactive, and educational game experiences
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure optimal game performance
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the creative process
- Ability to create original music a plus.
Qualifications:
- Experience in Game Development, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in game programming, preferably with a focus on children’s games
- Understanding of 3D graphics and animations
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, C#, or JavaScript
- Experience with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for creating engaging and educational content for children
