The position:
As an Account Executive for business schools located in the Northeast USA you would be responsible for developing and growing our current client portfolio within the region as well as generating new business opportunities in one of the world’s most developed education markets.
Your day to day responsibilities would include:
- Collaborate with our Program Development team to design online experiential learning modules and travel itineraries in collaboration with business school course leaders and program directors;
- Drive account outreach through lead generation and participation in University partner calls and meetings;
- Manage & develop the Northeast USA University portfolio in conjunction with production targets and monthly goals;
- Coordinate with Austral Group’s Sales Operations team to generate proposals, pricing, and program budgets for clients;
- Update and maintain client account records through the CRM and pricing softwares;
- Transition sold Programs to the Operations team for efficient and professional program execution;
- Provide feedback and recommendations for program improvements based on direct customer feedback;
- Build industry, market and destination knowledge in collaboration with Austral Group’s academic planning and experiential learning teams;
- Travel to participate in regional and international conferences and to prospect clients in person;
You will excel in this position if you have:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in B2B business development with a proven ability to grow a client portfolio;
- Knowledge of University purchasing processes and business school buyer personas;
- A creative and inquisitive mind for designing academically rigorous learning experiences with University professors;
- Strong negotiation skills and able to build long term partnerships with University clients;
- Effectively qualify sales leads, and ability to utilize a consultative sales approach during conversations among a wide range of buyer personas;
- Understand price sensitivity and client value perceptions;
- Impeccable organization and time-management to handle multiple client accounts;
- Experience working with Salesforce or alternative CRM systems;
- Attention to detail to ensure precision in proposals and costings;
- Confident and persuasive spoken and written communication skills;
- Interest in working in a fast-paced, multicultural team environment;
- Knowledge of economic and business climates of Latin America and Europe is an advantage;
- Previous experience related to the Ed-Tech industry is a plus;
