Science, Technology & Engineering Department Internship
This position serves to remotely support the STE Department for providing all curriculum, lab materials, and supports for our teachers across four schools serving grades K-10. Our curriculum comes in a variety of formats, and we are constantly looking for ways to improve student accessibility for mastery of standards-based content that is in alignment with the revised Massachusetts STE standards.
Our School
Manville School is a therapeutic day school for K-10 students who experience emotional, neurological, or learning difficulties that have impacted their ability to succeed in previous school settings. Manville has a strong tradition of providing innovative educational programming and comprehensive, evidence-based clinical services. As a result of the integration of these service components, Manville is a school where students with challenging needs can experience academic success, social development, and emotional growth.
Qualifications
Excellent written oral communication skills, punctuality, solid attendance, ability to handle multiple tasks, attend to details to handle multiple tasks, attend to details, meet deadlines, affinity with Google Drive/Word/Excel, resourcefulness, problem-solving skills, strong work habits and professionalism. Familiarity with the STE Massachusetts standards is helpful but not required.
It is preferred applicants be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program. An interview, resume, 3 reference, and background check are required.
