Social Media Internship

Internship Summary:
The Baltimore Orioles are seeking a Social Media Intern to join our Social team for the 2025 season. This intern will need to be available to work in person in Baltimore, MD from approximately April – October 2025.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Assist with social coverage for home and road games, community events, mascot appearances, etc.
  • Handle updating graphics using Photoshop and in-game video for sponsorship using Premiere or Slate during home and road games
  • Assist with the management of the Orioles’ ancillary accounts, including Orioles Community, O’s Player Dev, The Oriole Bird, etc.
  • Help track campaigns for research and reporting purposes
  • Research and report on trends and initiatives across the league to develop best practices and new concepts
  • Work with the Social team on identifying potential influencers for the Club to partner with
  • Other tasks, projects, and responsibilities as assigned

Minimum Qualifications and Essential Functions:

  • College student, or individual, pursuing a career in social media, marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field
  • Experience publishing content on TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, and Threads
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premiere
  • Strong attention to detail as well as strong writing and communication skills
  • Must be able to work nights and weekends, as the job requires long hours
  • Understanding of baseball and Orioles team history is a plus
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus

The anticipated hourly rate for this role is $15/hour.

Benefits include concession and merchandise discounts, free parking, and limited complimentary baseball tickets to home games. A 401(k) plan with discretionary employer match available after one year of service and 1,000 hours is also available.
