We are seeking creative, driven individuals who are passionate about social media and eager to learn the ins and outs of digital marketing in the fast-paced commercial and entertainment world.

As a social media intern, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing The Celebrity Link’s online presence, growing our audience, and driving engagement across all platforms. This hands-on experience will give you a deep understanding of the entertainment industry’s social media landscape while honing your skills in content creation, analytics, and strategic planning.

Job Qualifications:

· You are a social media maven, adept at chiming in with social commentary on Twitter, but also loves to jump on the latest TikTok craze

· Well-versed in different social media platforms, including (but not limited to) Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Threads, and X

· A deep understanding of audience analysis and engagement, ensuring content is tailored to target demographics

· Your love for Hollywood and pop culture keeps you informed of the latest news, trends, and influencers in the entertainment industry

· Excellent development skills and a strong understanding of storytelling

· A demonstrated ability to juggle multiple creative projects and prioritize work without missing deadlines

· Care for the people and world around you and want to make actively make a difference

· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and photo editing software (Canva, Powerpoint, etc.)

· Organizationally adept

· Supreme communication and networking skills

· Your research, writing, and editing skills allow you to produce engaging, accurate, and error-free video and written content

· Demonstrated accuracy in the execution of assigned tasks

· Ability to handle oneself professionally with good phone etiquette, a solid work ethic, and an eagerness to learn

· Ability to anticipate needs and adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment

· Ability to meet tight deadlines

· Ability to take direction and work independently

· Are a team-player

Responsibilities and training may include but are not limited to:

· Post to social media on a consistent and continuous basis

· Stay consistently active on all social media platforms to maximize reach and stay engaged within the industry

· Social media content creation and editing (photo and video)

· Marketing strategy

· Creating celebrity and influencer talent submissions

· Entertainment industry research

· Creative brainstorming

· Updating databases

· Drafting brand messages

· Staying up-to-date on current celebrity and advertising industry trends

All students should check with their school’s Internship Coordinator BEFORE accepting an offer to determine if this position satisfies the criteria for receiving academic credit.
