Role: Associate Environmental Podcast Producer & Interviewer responsible for helping produce podcasts and conducting selected interviews with leading environmentalists & organizations.

Opportunities also exist for gaining experience in adjacent activities of curation, events organization, A/V, art interviews, and community/educational initiatives.

Location: Your city & remote team collaboration. We always respect COVID guidelines. There are opportunities for both remote and in-person interviews.

Time Period for Internship/Externship: Currently accepting applications. Entirely flexible to your schedule. This is an ongoing international project, so should you not be available to collaborate until later in the year, just let us know. We can work around your schedule.

Time period is particularly flexible for involvement in the project-based initiative.

The Creative Process is traveling to universities around the world, so opportunities to participate beyond this time period are possible, adaptable to the student’s free time and interests.

Time period is flexible, but are there any dates a student should be available?

Involvement in the project is adaptable to your schedule. If we can have an initial video meeting in the coming weeks that would be great.

Skillset: All Levels Welcome – BA or Graduate Students

A background in journalism, environmental studies, or audio production is helpful but not a requirement.

All Disciplines Welcome

All collaboration is appreciated and is completely adaptable to your core skills. We have collaborated with students from a variety of disciplines, including STEM, arts, business, and communications. What is most essential is to be curious, have initiative and a desire to learn.

A number of our participating students have discovered through The Creative Process that they excel in areas outside of their field of study and have gone on to jobs in those disciplines.

Additional Information – How will I be credited? What will I receive?

Depending on the period of collaboration, The Creative Process is counted as a class. Interns/Externs receive work experience and class credits. Please contact your university’s Internship or Experiential Learning Department for more information.

Interns/Externs and Project-Based Participants are acknowledged in podcasts the traveling exhibition, on our website team page and acknowledgments section going to each university and exhibition space.

Participants will also receive a commemorative artwork for their time. We will also write letters of commendation or evaluation for students. Participating universities and institutions host The Creative Process during their important festivals and conferences. Naturally, all participants will be invited to attend.
