The Daily Caller is looking for a full-time editor to join our dedicated and dynamic team.
A candidate for this role must be an efficient and competent copy editor with good knowledge of AP style. The candidate should be capable of editing news stories for accuracy and readability. He or she must also have excellent attention to detail and a desire to maintain objectivity when editing and pitching news.
Responsibilities for the position include copy editing and publishing incoming news stories, pitching stories to reporters and assisting in frontpage management.
The candidate must have excellent news judgment, with an eye for what stories are compelling to our readers and will draw incredible amounts of interest.
The candidate should be a political news junkie with a strong knowledge of U.S. policy and politics.
3-5 years of previous editing experience is strongly preferred but not required.
