The Republic of Tea is seeking a Digital Marketing Intern to support our Marketing and Ecommerce initiatives, and to develop key insights to the field that will compliment your education and career goals. As an Intern, you will work independently and collaboratively with the Direct-to-Consumer TEAm to implement digital marketing offerings across our website and Amazon marketplace. You will utilize people resources and software tools to meet task deadlines and exercise multitasking, all while gaining exposure to the field of Digital Marketing. The ideal candidate is curious, dedicated, and courageous in asking questions!
The Republic of Tea’s internship program will begin in 2021 relative to candidate availability with the potential for extending into 2022. The ability to work remote or in our St. Louis office are offered, part-time or full-time hours are also available. (Minimum of 10 hours per week for part-time, up to 40 hours per week for full-time.)
•Complete audits of website item categories for The Republic of Tea and subsidiary brands.
•Expand Product Detail Pages (PDPs) to enhance content and tea benefit information.
•Assist with identifying promotions and produce insightful ways to promote through Marketing channels.
•Cross functionally assist with new item launches. Ensure new item template is completed, and information is correctly provided.
•Proactively complete new item checklist for future item launches with established timelines.
•Maintain calendars and timelines such as marketing projects and future item launches.
•Support sustainability education on our websites; adding environmental imagery and certification to the item pages.
•Collect data insights and A/B test new web layouts for category pages driving UX.
•Catalog current Amazon enhanced content –item titles, descriptions, keywords, images, Amazon Standard Identification Number (ASINs) variation parentage, A+ content and more.
•Assist with blog content for The Republic of Tea and subsidiary brands.
•Gain exposure to email campaign life cycle; testing, scheduling, content loading.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS: (Minimum Education and Experience)
•Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate business program within an accredited institution required. Degree focus preferably in marketing, communications, advertising, public relations.
•Graduating between fall 2021 and spring 2022.
•Must be willing to work minimum of 10 hours per week.
•General understanding of common E-Commerce; KPIs, target setting and external benchmarks.
•Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
•UX design a plus.
•Amazon seller central experience a plus.
•Strong attention to detail.
•Strong ability to multi-task and execute against multiple deadlines.
