Risk Advisory’s Business Intelligence and Investigations unit is looking to bolster its Asia practice with the recruitment of one or more corporate investigators, to be based in Hong Kong or Singapore (depending on candidate). The roles would be suitable for those with up to 2 years experience in the corporate investigations and due diligence sector, although candidates with other relevant experience may be considered. Of particular interest are native-level Mandarin speakers with significant experience living and working in Mainland China. Other languages of interest include Vietnamese, Japanese and Korean. Candidates should have a high degree of written fluency in English, and a solid understanding of common regulatory and reputational risks associated with researching prospective business partners across Asia.
We are looking for candidates who are curious, inquisitive, and tenacious in their research and innovative in their approach to using new research techniques and resources. An in-depth knowledge of regional politics and economics is also essential for this position, as well as an understanding of key business trends. Producing high-quality analysis is an essential component of this position. Candidates must possess outstanding and demonstrable research and writing skills and will be tested on both during the application process. The ability to manage multiple assignments, often within tight deadlines, is a critical aspect of the work.
Strong interpersonal skills are also a requirement for this role and the successful candidates will be expected to liaise directly with our clients on a regular basis, often managing all aspects of the project cycle from initial scoping through to final invoicing.
We offer challenging and interesting work as part of a dynamic, multi-cultural team, with a competitive salary, generous annual leave and a package of other benefits. Visa sponsorship will be supported for the successful candidate.
If you are interested in becoming part of our team and if you believe that you meet the criteria, please first read our Applicants Requirements page on the website (https://www.riskadvisory.com/risk-advisory-careers/applicants-requirements/) then submit your application consisting of CV and cover letter via the Applicant Portal. Applications will close on Thursday March 11 at 5pm (HKT).
If you are selected to continue in the process, you will be invited to take a writing test during the second half of the month, and formal interviews will follow shortly thereafter. Unfortunately, due to the large volume of applications we expect to receive, we will not be able to respond to every applicant. If you have not heard back from us by the end of March, then your application has not been successful.
