The Tufts Career Center is proud to announce our first Professional in Residence for the Spring 2021 semester: Charles Wartemberg. As both an engineer and a storyteller, Charles is currently a Product Manager working on helping employees discover, connect, and grow at Microsoft. In this role, he leads product design, development, and global implementation, in partnership with stakeholders from Engineering, Design, Services, and LinkedIn. His experience has included Product Management and Product Marketing roles on products within Xbox, Windows, and Office.

Prior to Microsoft, Charles worked at Amazon in Seattle and McMaster-Carr Supply Co. in Chicago, IL. Charles received his Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University in Boston, and an MBA with a concentration in Statistics, Econometrics and Managerial & Organizational Behavior from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. As a proud Ghanaian & African, Charles is passionate about technology and mentoring. As a lifelong learner with a bias for action, Charles’s mission is to lead innovative products, and to unlock the potential of the next-generation.

PART ONE:

Charles Wartemberg will be our guest speaker from 11:00am – 12:00 pm EST and we will include time for general Q&A.

PART TWO:

Immediately after the talk, there will be an opportunity for students to sign up for an individual 20-min career conversation with our speaker to receive personal advice and insight on pursuing your own career journey in product management and marketing.
