Value Analytics Labs is seeking a part-time intern to help evaluate and test ValueGen.AI, our agentic AI platform for HEOR, Market Access, and Medical Affairs in the life sciences industry.
The intern will test the performance of ValueGen.AI across a range of real-world use cases, including medical literature search, evidence synthesis, HEOR research, and other scientific and market access workflows.
We are looking for someone with significant medical and life science knowledge and experience using this knowledge to critically appraise the accuracy and quality of research.
**No prior AI, programming, or data science experience required. Data science and software engineering applicants without significant life science, HEOR, or clinical, medical, or healthcare experience will not be considered.
Responsibilities
- Test ValueGen.AI across different HEOR, Medical Affairs, and Market Access use cases
- Evaluate the accuracy, relevance, completeness, and quality of AI-generated outputs
- Compare results with source literature and established research methods
- Identify gaps, errors, and opportunities to improve platform performance
- Provide structured feedback to the product and research teams
Qualifications
- Strong background in medical literature research
- Knowledge of Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR)
- Ability to critically evaluate scientific evidence and research outputs
- Strong analytical and written communication skills
- Experience with PubMed, MEDLINE, Embase, or similar databases is preferred
- Required: Bachelor’s degree with relevant HEOR/Medical research experience.
- Preferred: Graduate students, Doctoral Candidates, or Postdoctoral Researchers with HEOR/Medical Research Experience
