Fall 2024 Marketing Internship – YES Network
The YES Network, the number one regional sports network in the nation, is the exclusive regional television home of the 27-time World Champion New York Yankees, the Brooklyn Nets and the New York Liberty. Job Description
- Work with Marketing Managers to plan and execute creative campaigns and lifecycle marketing calendar
- Assist in development of acquisition strategies in both paid and organic media channels
- Propose creative ways to better engage our Yankees, Nets, and Liberty fans within our digital ecosystem
- Develop understanding of emerging direct-to-consumer business, industry trends, and overall digital marketing best practices
- Collaborate in the initiation of brand campaigns by leading development of the creative brief
- Contribute to website enhancement and optimization and share and analyze KPIs
- Assist in the distribution and delivery of marketing assets for campaigns and initiatives
- Act as a project manager throughout Yankees’ season, ensuring the team stays on schedule and meets deadlines
- Facilitate orders for promotional items
Job Qualifications
- Must be an undergraduate student, pursuing a degree in Marketing preferred
- Basic understanding of customer relationship management software preferred, but not required
- Must be a self-starter with great time-management and prioritization skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills necessary
- Must be meticulous, professional, responsive, organized and resourceful
- Must be proficient in Word and Excel
- Working knowledge of the sports and media industries is preferred
- Must be available to work in YES Network’s Manhattan office
This is a part-time (16-24 hrs/week), paid ($15/hr) position, 10-12 week program in our NYC office.
