COVID Policies for In-Person Career Fairs for 2023-2024 Academic Year
COVID Policies for In-Person Career Fairs
Tufts University is pleased to be offering both a virtual and an in-person career fair this coming 2023-2024 academic year. In order to provide a safe environment for our campus community and employers to attend this upcoming event, we have outlined the following COVID Policies required by Tufts University and the Career Center. We look forward to you joining us for our in-person event and please do not hesitate to contact Sue Atkins, Associate Director, Employer Relations with any questions that you may have regarding this information outlined below.
Current Covid Guidelines are as follows:
- We will be limiting our in-person fair to 200 employers
- Tufts University will lift its COVID-19 vaccination requirement effective May 11 and will strongly recommend that the general population of students, faculty, staff, affiliates, vendors, and visitors remain up to date with COVID-19 vaccines as recommended by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
- Masking is not required at this time; however, we strongly recommend that employers wear a 3-ply surgical mask, KN95 or N95 mask for the duration of the Career Fair
Lastly, if you should have any flu-like symptoms before the career fair, we ask that you kindly refrain from attending our event and to contact Sue Atkins, Associate Director, Employer Relations at Susan.Atkins@tufts.edu to inform her that you will not be in attendance that day.
Tufts University reserves the right to update these COVID policies and procedures in advance of the upcoming Career Fair. If so, we will send the information directly to all representatives in attendance.
