How can I learn more about the Career Center?

  • Spend 5-10 minutes looking through our website. Check out the skill-building content featured in our Career Planning Process for Graduate Students resource. You’ll get a big-picture sense of how the Career Center helps students at every stage of their Tufts journeys.
  • Get to know our Career Communities. They’re your hub for connecting with people, experiences, resources, and opportunities. Explore and follow the communities that fit your evolving interests, goals, and career plans.

What is Tufts Handshake? Can the Career Center help me find internships, fellowships, and jobs?

Handshake is a Tufts platform for connecting students to internships, jobs, and career events. With Handshake, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Discover and apply for internships, jobs, fellowships, campus employment, and more
  • Make appointments with members of our career advising team (schedule an appointment beginning early August 2026 to discuss your career plans)
  • Get access to career fairs, employer events, interview days, and career-building resources
