>> My name is Devin Caney [assumed spelling]. I am a graduate student at American University. I hope to become a broadcast journalist soon. Pre grad school right after I graduated from PIT, I moved out to LA and I was an assistant in the entertainment industry. I started at William Morrison Endeavor, which is now WME-ING because they merged, which is a huge talent agency. And I worked in their non-scripted department. So I worked with the Kardashians, and Kelly Osbourne, and pretty much anyone you've ever seen on E! or Bravo for about a year and a half. And then I moved over to Lionsgate, which is a movie studio, and I was the assistant to the chairman of Motion Pictures there. A day in the life was wake up early, make sure you get to work before your boss does, drink a lot of coffee, [laughs] and then really it's just kind of go, go, go. I always say when people ask me what it was like, I ask if they've seen "Entourage", because I was literally Lloyd, who was Ari's assistant. WME's CEO's name is actually "Ari". So Ari from "Entourage" is based off of the CEO of WME. But yes, that was -- you're just responsible for another person's life. And it kind of gets old, but you are just casually talking to celebrities and really famous and influential people all day, every day, and running your boss's schedule, setting up meetings, setting up lunches, dinners, drinks, answering phones; did it all.
