Welcome to Friday Faves! Each Friday we’ll spotlight one of our favorite resources for students.
Today’s fave: Have you heard about The Herd? It’s our platform for student-alumni flash mentoring. Flash mentoring is one-time or short-term mentoring that is centered around tactical one-time meetings, providing knowledge and insider advice. (And, of course, mentors and mentees can always develop longer-lasting relationships too!)
The nice thing about The Herd is that these alumni have volunteered to be in the database and have career conversations with students. This is slightly different than other (also great!) resources like LinkedIn, where people haven’t necessarily volunteered to be contacted.
