Americorps Panel – This Thursday, October 19th from 1 – 2 pm in Mayer Campus Center Room 012

SCI AmeriCorps will be hosting a panel discussion with four other AmeriCorps programs to discuss the AmeriCorps Member experience – challenges, benefits, and more.

Representatives from 826 Boston, Framingham Teacher Residency, AmeriCorps Legal Advocates of Massachusetts, Perkins School for the Blind, and United Way of Mass Bay will be joining to give a wide range of programmatic perspectives on what it means to serve and the unique ways they each respond to the national decline in Service Member recruitment and retention. Panelists will also explore the ways in which their programs work to make the AmeriCorps experience more diverse, equitable, and inclusive.
