Job Description
The Scientific Research Summer Intern will have the opportunity to work directly with company executives in the areas of scientific and regulatory affairs. We are seeking a motivated multi-tasker to join our team, someone that is not afraid of working hard or trying new things. Because of the company’s flexibility, you will have the ability to work on projects that are most interesting to you. As a Scientific Affairs Summer Intern at Bonafide Health, you will be able to apply your skills in an exciting, fast-paced environment.
There are two 2024 Intern positions available. You may have the opportunity to work with either our product development/preclinical team or our clinical team. Please clarify in your cover letter which team you would prefer to work with and how your experience relates to either of the position descriptions below.
Product Development/Preclinical Team
- Collaborate on the strategic development of one or more of the products in our pipeline
- Review research data and to help create compelling and responsible marketing claims
- Research data underpinning new opportunities to evaluate business viability
- Collaborate with our Senior Management team across all disciplines
Clinical Research Team
- Assist in the development of clinical study protocols for our products
- Review market research feedback to help create compelling and responsible marketing claims
- Collaborate with our Senior Management team across all disciplines
- Assist with recruitment and management of ongoing clinical studies

Qualifications
- Students must be enrolled in a full-time accredited college or university, and must have completed their sophomore or junior year (B.S.). Master or PhD students are eligible to apply.
- Ability to commit to a full-time position during the summer (Monday –Friday)
- Strong science background preferred, but not required
- Candidate must have the ability to understand technical data and possess excellent communication skills
- Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Effective written communications skills, including skill in proofreading for grammar, spelling, and editing
- Ability to work independently
- Extremely reliable
- Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
Location and Work Model
Bonafide Health headquarters are in Harrison, New York, which is in Westchester County, approximately 22 miles north of Manhattan. Our team is operating in a hybrid work model and this role will have the flexibility to work remotely part of the time and in our physical office as needed.
Compensation & Benefits
$27/hour, temporary, full-time (Monday-Friday). Program dates: ~ May 20 – August 9 (with some flexibility)
As temporary employees, interns are not eligible to participate in the company’s fringe benefits.
