Job Title: 2024 Summer Intern – Property Project Management Intern
Location: Johnston, RI
Duration: 10 weeks
Start Date: May 2024 – August 2024 with flexibility on dates
Citizens is seeking a Property Project Management Intern to join our Real Estate Operations team to deliver facility-related services and amenities across our diverse portfolio of buildings and branches.
These include:
- Repairs & Maintenance
- Energy Services
- Fire, Life, and Safety
- Cafeteria Services
- Building Improvements
- Janitorial Services
- Snow Removal
The summer intern will actively engage and support the Project Management team.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the implementation of the new Technology tool, Lucernex, transitioning older projects into this technology
- Contributing to the development of a reporting dashboard featuring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the Real Estate Operations team
- Fulfilling project administrative reporting requirements
- Providing departmental support as needed
- Generating status reports and maintaining documentation using computerized systems and project management software applications
- Assisting in the design, organization, documentation, and implementation of all phases of assigned projects to meet project requirements and achieve business goals
- Collaborating with other business areas as required to support projects
- This role is technical and analytical in nature, supporting strategic responsibilities within the Real Estate Operations team
- Supporting the creation and analysis of various technical and engineering service reports to aid initiatives and projects outlined in the 2024 Business Plan
Qualifications:
- Current students enrolled in an undergraduate program, graduating between Winter 2024 – Spring 2026
- Relevant work experience, leadership experience or coursework in Construction Management is preferred but all majors will be considered Background/major in project management, analytics, or statistics or similar (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook (Beginner to Advanced)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
Job Type: Internship
This position offers $25/hr. as a starting rate.
Hours & Work Schedule:
Hours per Week: 40
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
