5 Ways Alumni Can Help Fellow Jumbos

Thanks for your interest in giving back to the Tufts community! Here are a few of the ways you can engage with fellow Jumbos:

  1. Join the Herd – become a member of our flash mentoring platform to share your advice and perspective.

  2. Participate in Jumbos4Jumbos – provide short-term, paid or unpaid projects to students so they can get experience (and you can get something done!)

  3. Get your organization to hire more Jumbos (undergraduates and grad students) – help hire for full-time, intern or co-op positions (we now have co-ops for ME, BME and CS, Engineering). Contact Sue Atkins at susuan.atkins@tufts.edu to post jobs or sign up to come to career fairs.

  4. Come to Networking Nights – network with current students at one of our many industry-focused events, e.g., Engineering Networking Night is always during Engineering Week in February. Contact Robin Kahan at robin.kahan@tufts.edu for upcoming dates.

  5. Contribute to the Career Center website – Be featured in our “3 Questions with _____” alumni interview blog series or record a video message to seniors and new grads for our “Beyond Tufts” series. Contact Robin Kahan at robin.kahan@tufts.edu for more information.
