Internship Funding Resources
The Career Center funds 45-50 undergraduate students each summer doing unpaid internships for a minimum of 300 hours. These funds offer students the opportunity to explore career fields and gain experience. Selected students will receive $4,500. Students must secure an internship prior to the deadlines.
The program offers substantive internships that allow students to gain real-world skills, grow their networks, and explore career paths while building stronger communities on a local, national, or international level. TSF fellowships are available for undergraduate, graduate, and professional school students.
There is no better way to learn how entrepreneurship works than to work in an entrepreneurial setting – and no better time to do so than the summer. The Entrepreneurial Internship Program connects students with summer jobs in entrepreneurial settings. For new ventures who have not raised significant funding or generated significant revenue, who are not able to pay their interns, we offer a limited number of Internship Grants through the Tufts Career Center that pay $4000 per student for a 10-week summer internship.
An incentive award that enables the recipient(s) to undertake a research project, internship, volunteer activity, or plan of study in any field involving international issues.
This scholarship pairs rising seniors with faculty mentors who guide a summer research project abroad in preparation for a Senior Honors Thesis, Directed Research Project, senior seminar paper, Fulbright proposal or other significant research paper in the senior year.
A scholarship funding undergrads over the course of two consecutive summers to pursue a research project. Scholars are supported for up to six weeks each summer, working closely with a Tufts faculty mentor. Research projects can focus on a variety of topics, including international projects. Teams working on a common research question may also apply.
A 10-week summer research immersion experience open to undergrads who identify as African American, Hispanic, Latino, Native American or Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander. The scholar award includes a stipend, meals, housing, and professional development.
An award given to undergraduate or graduate students who have passion for the natural world and a plan to explore it on their own terms. The goal of this award is to help students clear financial hurdles so they can step out of their comfort zone and pursue their dreams.
Funds rising juniors and seniors for ten-week independent research projects. Students work closely with a faculty mentor to create a poster to present in the fall. Summer Scholars then present the next stage of their research at the Undergraduate Research Symposium in the spring. Often, summer projects will culminate in a senior honors thesis.
There are three types of Empower Fellowships – Social Entrepreneurship Grants, Internships and Research.
