Tufts Mentorship Programs
The Tufts Career Center is partnering with the Office of Alumni Engagement to pilot mentorship programs with specific student communities. The following programs are currently being piloted or will be piloted.
FIRST Center Career Mentorship Program
This program is a collaboration with The FIRST Center, the Tufts Career Center, and the Office of Alumni Engagement. This program began in the Fall of 2023 as a pilot program. The peer leaders of the FIRST Center will receive career mentorship from alumni for the 2024-2025 academic year.
- Mentors and mentees are required to meet for a minimum of 4 times (5 are highly preferred) from September 2024-March of 2025

Africana Center Career Mentorship Program
This program is a collaboration with The Africana Center, the Tufts Career Center, and the Office of Alumni Engagement. This program will begin in the Fall of 2024. Peer leaders of the Africana Center will receive career mentorship from alumni for the 2024-2025 academic year.
- Mentors and mentees are required to meet twice in the Fall and twice in the Spring
- The deadline to apply has been extended to Tuesday, September 3rd
